Manufacturing Processes
We run three TPE processes in-house, and each suits a different buying objective:
● Male-mold vacuum forming (core process). The sheet is heated, vacuum-formed over the mold, cooled and trimmed. The surface in direct contact with the mold carries the sharpest texture. Recommended for high-end positioning and volume orders.
● Female-mold vacuum forming. The reverse side contacts the mold, leaving the visible surface free of mold contact marks. It offers good mold stability and a high yield rate, which makes it the cost-control option.
● Injection molding. TPE pellets are melted and injected into the cavity under high pressure, so both faces carry clear detail and edges are the sharpest of the three. It is recommended for high-end models. Dual-color injection is also available as a premium custom option.
