Three Processes, One Mold Library
Kangyu works with TPE through three forming routes. The right one depends on the vehicle, the order size and the finish you need.
● Male-mold vacuum forming (recommended for this model): the visible face contacts the mold, giving sharp edges and clear texture. Suited to premium vehicles and large-volume orders.
● Female-mold vacuum forming: the reverse face contacts the mold, which protects the visible surface from mold contact and gives high process stability and yield. It is the cost-control route.
● Injection molding: TPE pellets are melted and injected under pressure, so both faces carry detail and edges are the sharpest of the three. Suited to high-end fitment.
For the GLC, we recommend and stock male-mold units.
